The Hungry Robot Wood-Powered Pizza
Located throughout Alaska in various mobile locations, The Hungry Robot announced it will be offering children free pizzas. Kids do not need to be present to pick up pizzas, nor do parents need to show proof of school ID or reduced school lunches. The Hungry Robot is operating on the honor system from 11AM-10PM daily, Monday through Saturday.
Salty’s on 2nd
Salty’s on 2nd, a sports bar in Fairbanks, AK, is committed to offering free brown bag lunches to kids as of 3/16. According to their official Facebook announcement, brown bags are available for pick-up, but if you have difficulty getting to Salty’s, you can message them and they will try to meet up with you.

Daily Dose Grill
Up to four children per table, Daily Dose Grill is offering free meals for kids, dine-in only. Available at any of its three locations—4020 N. Scottsdale Road, 1928 E. Highland Avenue, and 96 S. Rockford Drive—Daily Dose is also offering curbside pick-up and to-go orders.

Located in Long Beach, The Attic on Broadway announced on Instagram it’s giving away free burritos to kids under 18 amidst the LBU School District closures.

As of 3/16, the kids’ menu at Hugo’s Restaurants in Long Beach is free. For children 12 and under, the menu includes grilled chicken, burger and fries, chicken tenders, a breakfast combo, spaghetti, and mac n’ cheese.

Oakland Unified School District
Through a partnership with No Kid Hungry, Oakland Unified School District is working on hiring drivers to stock community food distribution centers where families can pick up free meals for their kids.
San Francisco Unified School District
Through a partnership with No Kid Hungry, San Francisco Unified School Distrit is purchasing a refrigerated trailer to deliver three meals a day to kids in need at 13 different schools and two emergency locations in low-income neighborhoods.

Bacon Social House
With the purchase of a regular entree, the two Bacon Social House locations in Denver is offering a free kids’ menu item during regular business hours, Monday to Friday from now until April 6. Bacon Social House has a Minneapolis location, as well.
Delaware
My Sister’s Fault
Located in Milford, DE, My Sister’s Fault is a Puerto Rican-inspired bakery serving free meals to children daily. Customers can pull up to the front and a volunteer will provide one meal per car. The restaurant estimates it will give out 200 free meals a day.
Kentucky
Poseidon’s Pizza Company
Poseidon’s Pizza Company is making sure no kid goes hungry during the COVID-19 outbreak. According to their Facebook, Poseidon’s is making a dedicated time to create free pizzas just for kids. They’re also working to expand their delivery radius so they can help more children affected by district closures.
Maryland
Bread for the City
Located in Washington, D.C., Bread for the City is working with No Kid Hungry to purchase food and supplies for low-income clients and their kids. This includes baby and infant food packets. The program is currently in its first phase.
Manna Food Center
Also in conjunction with No Kid Hungry, Manna Food Center is helping to provide emergency meals for kids during the COVID-19 school closures.
Massachusetts
The Breakfast Spot
The Breakfast Spot and Elevate Boston have teamed up with Romilda and Families for Justice as Healing to feed the youth of Boston a free lunch buffet. Tuesday through Friday from 11:30AM to 2:30PM, kids can visit 2805 Washington Street in Roxbury for a free lunch buffet.
Goodstuff Smokehouse
Students who come to Goodstuff Smokehouse in Blackstone, MA (with or without parents) during the weekday lunchtime will receive a free kids meal to-go.
Mamajuana Cafe: The Bronx
From 11AM to 1PM and 4PM to 8PM on the weekdays, Mamajuana Cafe: The Bronx at 3233 East Tremont Avenue will be handing out bagged lunches for kids.
Project Bread
In conjunction with No King Hungry, Project Bread is coordinating free meal sites and working to expand the Food Source Hotline that connects families with food banks, pantries, and sites across Massachusetts.

Bacon Social House
With the purchase of a regular entree, Bacon Social House in Minneapolis is offering a free kids’ menu item during regular business hours, Monday to Friday from now until April 6. Bacon Social House has two Denver, CO locations, as well.

Billy’s is offering free lunch for kids under 14. No other purchase is necssary to qualify.
The Bourbon Butcher
The Bourbon Butcher is offering a free kids’ meal of a sandwich, fruit cup, chips, cookie, and milk to patrons who call ahead inquiring about free meals for kids. Located in Farmington, Bourbon is also offering curbside to-go, delivery, and food shelf donations.

Located in Saint Paul, Day by Day is giving out a free lunch of hotdog and chips for kids.
El Burrito Mercado
From 11AM to 2PM, children accompanied by an adult can get a free cheese quesadill and apple at El Burrito Mercado at 175 Cesar Chavez Street.

Come into Granite City Food & Brewery in Roseville and ask for a manager to receive a free kids’ meal of a turkey sandwich, applesauce, and chips.
Hope Breakfast Bar
The community kitchen at Hope Breakfast Bar is currently open, serving people in need. To order a free breakfast sandwich, email [email protected]. Hope Breakfast Bar is also asking patrons to contribute to feed a hungry family.

As of March 17, Que Viet at 2211 Johnson Street is offering free fried rice for kids—a choice of pork or chicken fried rice. There’s a secret passcode: “KYLSEA,” which is pronounced “Kelsey.” Staff will know what to do when you order with the code.

Whiskey Inferno in Savage, MN is offering free meals to kids, as long as you call ahead.
Zen Box Izakaya

Ani Ramen
Ani Ramen—with locations in Montclair, Maplewood, and Jersey City—gave away free family meal kits on Thursday, March 19. They fed more than 15,000 families.
Jersey City School District
Jersey City Public Schools are also feeding kids. From 9Am to 12PM, any Jersey City resident 18 or under can stop by 18 school locations in Jersey City for a free breakfast and lunch.
Jersey Mike’s Subs
Jersey Mike’s Subs in Hoboken is providing meals to kids from Pre-K to 12th grade from 11AM to 2PM Monday through Friday.

New York
New York City Public Schools
As of March 23, 440 school locations in New York City are providing free meal services, while others temporarily transform into childcare centers for the children of essential services workers. Students will be able to get three meals per day at any one of the 440 locations, regardless of if it is their school or not. Grab-and-go meals are available from 7:30Am to 1:30PM. A new initiative to deliver meals to “medically fragile” students is also in the works. Check for updates on the COVID-19 Food Hub NYC page.
North Carolina
McDonald’s
The McDonald’s in Iredell County, NC is offering free meals to kids. From 11AM to 2PM Monday through Friday, children 12 and under, accompanied by a parent or guardian, can choose between a free meal of a plain hamburger, cheeseburger, or four-piece chicken nugget, along with a yogurt, pack of sliced apples, or small fries.
Ohio
Butcher & Sprout
From now until April 5, Butcher & Sprout—located in Cuyahoga Falls—is offering free lunch for kids under 12 every day. Lunches are available in store from 11AM to 3PM. Butcher & Sprout is also offering a $5 bonus gift card for every $50 spent in the store between now and 4/5.
Habanero Latin American Fare
Habanero Latin American Fare is asking parents of children who rely on school lunch programs to reach out directly via Facebook Messenger. According to their Facebook post, they will do their best to help out.
Porkbelly BBQ
Free dine-in or carryout lunch is available from Wednesday to Saturday at Porkbelly BBQ for kids who are currently enrolled in free school lunch programs in Ohio. From 11AM to 1PM, stop by Porkbelly BBQ at 1616 E. Wooster Street in Bowling Green.
Red Rose Jems Pizzeria
The family-only staff at Red Rose Jems Pizzeria in Cincinnati has volunteered to feed the kids of Ohio. Red Rose is posting daily updates of their schedule on Facebook, but has typically been opening at 4PM to serve kids and offer take-out and starting delivery at 6PM. According to their Facebook page, let them know if you are going to Brink for $2 off your bill.
Oregon
Laughing Planet Café
From now until further notice, Laughing Planet is providing free lunches for children who qualify for Meal Assistance Programs in Oregon. Laughing Planet is operating on the honor system, but children do need to be present at the café in order to pick up a lunch. Alternatively, you can order over the phone. According to their comments section, they are also willing to make things work with disabled parents who have accessibility concerns and children with allergies. Laughing Planet has locations in Portland, Eugene, Vancouver, Bend, Corvallis, and Reno.
Pennsylvania
Spaghetti Benders
At Spaghetti Benders in Downtown Indiana, PA, lunches are free for kids K-12 for the next two week of school closures. Monday through Friday, from 11AM to 3PM, free lunches of spaghetti with marinara or butter sauce and fresh Italian bread will be given to children in-store. Spaghetti Benders will also be handing out bottled waters with each lunch as long as supplies last. Older students should bring a school ID, while younger students should be accompanied by a parent/guardian/babysitter.
South Carolina
Greenville County School District
Greenville County Schools is offering fresh breakfast and lunch to kids 18 and younger at more than 15 different locations throughout the district. All mealswill be prepared in school facilities by the district’s Food and Nutrition Services staff. Breakfast starts at 8AM and they start serving lunch at 11AM. New York Pizza Department
The New York Pizza Department off of Highway 153 in Hixton is offering food to kids in need. Morning, day, or night, as long as the Pizza Department has the means to do so, the owner said in a Facebook post she will never turn away a child in need of a meal.
Old Dads
Old Dads is serving the kids of Sevierville with a free lunch.
The Red Tomato
Sevier County children in need of a missed school lunch can head over to The Red Tomato in Sevierville for a free lunch.
Yassin’s Falafel House
Through a parternship with Gateway Delivery, Yassin’s Falafel House is now offering free meal delivery to students who order within five miles of either Falafel House location—706 Walnut Street in Knoxville or 159 N. Peters Road in Knoxville. Students who are enrolled in school lunch programs are eligible for 1 free meal daily with a valid program ID. Hours are 11AM to 2PM and orders can be made on GatewayDelivery.com or the app, and users must put in promo code YFHGW.
Washington
Havana Café
Located in Pasco, Washington, Havana Café is passing out free meals and books (in both English and Spanish) donated from the Children’s Reading Foundation to kids. Havana is also asking parents to bring a children’s book to donate when they pick up a free kids’ lunch.
Hot Mess Burgers and Fries
Plans for how Hot Mess Burgers and Fries in Richland, Washington plans to distribute free lunches to kids are still in the works. However, the restaurant announced via Facebook post that they are coming up with a plan to give out free lunches to kids at least once a week.
No Kid Hungry is in the continuous process of reviewing grant applications, re-assessing the needs of local communities, and deploying as many funds as necsesary to feed more kids.
